For The Glory of Old Joe
January 22, 2012 at 9:25AM Marks the official time when the sport of Football and the world lost a great man. Working in both college and pro football, it’s clear to see how Coach Paterno had shaped the lives of many and the direction of the game. His record 409 wins brought Penn State’s Nittany Lions 5 unbeaten seasons and 2 national championships. He has helped more than 350 players to be drafted in the NFL draft with 33 of them in the first round.
In a mindset where money has made the sport go round, Paterno has been credited for earning on the lower end of the coaches scale… yet he has donated tens of millions to charities. He has touched the lives of generations, and for all that he has done… we thank him.
Rest in Peace Coach Joe Paterno: 1926 – 2012
