Manning Mania

According to a Harris Interactive poll, the Denver Broncos are the NFL’s most popular franchise, ending a six-year run at the top for the Dallas Cowboys, who finished fourth.
The Broncos topped the poll for the first time, a finish that can be attributed to two things: first, the addition of Peyton Manning; and second, their run to the Super Bowl last season.
The Broncos jumped from 17th to third after signing Manning in 2013. During Manning’s final five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, the team finished no lower than fourth in the yearly poll.
The Seattle Seahawks surged in the poll, jumping from 12th to sixth while the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers finished second and third respectively.
The poll also found that viewership is up across the country, as 55 percent of U.S adults said they follow professional football, up from 54 percent a year ago.
