In 2013 MTV tapped DJ Yoshi to spin the VMA Popup Tour. The tour that celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Video Music Awards traveled throughout the New York Metropolitan area promoting the MTV brand and built awareness for one of the biggest nights in music!
DJ Yoshi made history in 2014 by becoming the first In-Game DJ at a Collegiate Athletic Conference’s Championship game. Yoshi took his skills to Indianapolis to spin for 66,000 people at Lucas Oil Stadium serving as the Official DJ for Big Ten Football’s Championship Weekend, and it was met with rave reviews. His ability to enthuse fans of B1G Ten programs has led him to expand his role with the conference to include basketball.
It doesn’t stop there. Due to Yoshi’s work with the B1G Ten, athletic and lifestyle apparel giant Under Armour tapped the New Jersey native to DJ their Premier events. From store openings to product launches, philanthropic initiatives to private affairs, DJ Yoshi can often be found scoring the music for UA athletes, executives, patrons and press. Pushing the envelope of sports and music, DJ Yoshi also made an appearance on ESPN 2 as the Official DJ of Under Armour’sAll-America Football Game! His mixing abilities and microphone presence also led him to be featured on the Emmy-Award-Winning television show Sportscenter!
In 2016, DJ Yoshi inked a deal to become the Official DJ of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils! Yoshi and long-time Devils Organist Pete Cannarozzi can be found in Section 125 of the Prudential Center blending and remixing popular songs together during NJ Devils home games!
2018 proved to be a great year for DJ Yoshi. The New York-born DJ was the first ever to DJ for all four major pro when he added Major League Baseball to his summer roster of clients. MLB and Van Wagner Sports introduced Yoshi as the First Ever DJ at the Little League Classic in Williamsport, PA. Fans from around the world danced to the tunes provided by the DJ and a few Little Leaguers participated in live video segments throughout the game!
One would expect that the Covid-19 Pandemic would enable the New Jersey DJ to become stagnate; that couldn’t be further from the Truth. The DJ Yoshi Experience went Live for the First time with an audience of nearly 2500 Viewers! Since then, the streams have transitioned to Twitch as a partnered streamer with nearly 10,000 fans!
In addition to his DJ sets, viewers can interact with Artists, Producers, Sports Icons and Industry executives via the bi-weekly show: “Studio Series.” The interactive show informs and inspires viewers via stories he shared with his guests. Army West Point recently turned to DJ Yoshi to become their Official DJ of Football. Known as College Football’s Premier Gameday Experience, the program turned to Yoshi to help modernize fan entertainment with the patented hype that he brings to Game Day.
