Rutgers will send a school-record six former players to the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine February 20-26 in Indianapolis, Ind. Linebacker Steve Beauharnais (Saddle Brook, N.J.), linebacker Khaseem Greene (Elizabeth, N.J.), wide receiver Mark Harrison (Stratford, Conn.), running back Jawan Jamison (Starke, Fla.), tight end D.C. Jefferson (Winter Haven, Fla.) and cornerback Logan Ryan (Berlin, N.J.) will perform in front of all 32 NFL teams at the combine.
The six players for Rutgers are the most of any BIG EAST school and shatters the old school record of three, set in 2009 (Kenny Britt, Courtney Greene, Tiquan Underwood), 2008 (Ray Rice, Jeremy Zuttah, Pedro Sosa) and 2007 (Clark Harris, Brian Leonard, Cameron Stephenson).
Over 300 of the top college football players are invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Top executives, coaching staffs, player personnel departments and medical personnel from all 32 NFL teams will be in attendance to evaluate the players eligible for the upcoming NFL Draft.
