10 Year Old Qualifies for US Women’s Amateur Tournament
Latanna Stone
10-year-old Latanna Stone is the youngest golfer ever to qualify for the U.S. Womens Amateur. She’ll also be the shortest golfer in the field next week standing in at a meager 4 feet 8 inches. She started playing golf when her dad sawed off a broomstick for her to swing when she was two-years-old. In an interview on her website, she says, “I want to go to the LPGA really badly, and I want to win a trophy maybe and money and all the stuff like that.”
